Change AP password

Changing the AP password restarts the access point. Connected devices must reconnect with the new password.

Save a network that is not visible right now, for example a phone hotspot.

Hotel, café, hospital and conference networks may show a login or consent page before Internet access works. Eira does not need Internet access for local control, but your phone or tablet must be allowed to reach other devices on the same WiFi network.

If Eira is connected to the WiFi but the web UI is not reachable from your phone, the network may use client isolation. In that case, use a phone hotspot, a private WiFi network, or the Eira access point fallback for setup and control.

When connected to eira by access point, the WLAN connection pauses to detect other networks. After the scan completes, reconnect to the access point and pick a detected network to join.
